Re: Next Century Wings Release (after the Crusader)

Logically, since all the CW releases have been Navy birds, an F-4 would be a good choice. Personally, I hope they go with something else. Issues aside, Corgi and FM already make Phantoms (including Navy versions), and Gemini Aces has their F-4s coming out. Other than the F-14, CW has done models nobody else has done. I hope they continue this trend by not making the F-4, and going with a plane nobody else has put out yet.

All true, but I still say an F-4 would be a good choice for CW. Yes, Corgi makes an F-4 but its quality is not what we have come to expect from CW. For that reason, I have not bought a Corgi F-4, but I would gladly buy a CW F-4. Actually, I would probably buy several as I have always liked the Phantom. As to the Gemini Aces F-4, I believe it is going to be the British versions with the Rolls-Royce Sprey engines. They will no doubt be nice and worth picking up but I would still like to see some CW quality USN and USAF F-4's.

Another welcome possibility is a USN A-1 Skyraider. Also any of the USAF century series fighters. Isn't it nice to think that CW is listening to our wants? It surely seems they listened with the F-8!
