I paid a visit to this museum twice now and while it's the only one I went to, it's really impressive. Did you know that they house the only other flying lancaster in the world (I believe the first is in the UK). For a $1000 with a min/max of 4 quest you can take flight in this plane for an hour? You can also choose between the havard for the same price if my memory serves me correctly.
I also took a lot of pictures and they do have more planes outside as well including a nice B-25 bomber.
I knew about the hangar fire but didn't know it destroyed those planes, what a shame. |
