I'll agree with you on the P40s but not with your opinion on my much beloved GMP Mustangs . The GMP P40 is one of the finest models ever produced in diecast but is, regrettably, let down by a 'gimmicky' landing gear system that is, as you correctly point out, far too thick (and not sufficiently durable).


Has anyone made a "perfect" P-51D yet? I don't think so....

IMHO GMP's options and detail work make up for their gaffs -- flaps that raise vertically with those hinges being one... and I admit the profile is slightly off. But they're just so darn pretty -- skinny gear and all.
