Cardo, if the only criteria for giving 'thumbs up' to GMP's Mustangs is based upon looking good rather than looking accurate, then I'm in total agreement. They look great. If real P-51Ds had huge, visible flap hinges, skinny landing gear etc. then they would have a true winner on their hands and I would be lamenting their departure from the aircraft sector of the diecast world along with everyone else....It seems GMP compensated for the Mustangs' anorexic landing gear by making their P-40s' "legs" too thick....

I'll agree with you on the P40s but not with your opinion on my much beloved GMP Mustangs


. The GMP P40 is one of the
finest models ever produced in diecast but is, regrettably, let down by a 'gimmicky' landing gear system that is, as you correctly point out, far too thick (and not sufficiently durable).
