The pre-war P-40 (like the one in the picture) only had the two cowling mounted 50 cal, no wing guns. Would have to make that small modification to the mold, but it would be a sweet model.

P 40 in the picture was probably one of the two initial P-40s and that would explain the absence of wing armament. The first really combat version would be the P-40B and that variant had the wing armament. Looks like Carousel could make some fairly nice looking pre war P-40Bs without having to modify their molds. I have not been able to dig up an photos of the pre war P-40Bs in natural metal finish, but there is no shortage in the OD pre war paint schemes.
