In the profile found here A21 has the mid production type turret balance, so I'm curious... I assume there's a "well known" photograph, or some film, of this vehicle out there, I'm just not sure where. I thumbed through my TD books, but couldn't find it. Maybe the rear of the turret is obscured in the source material? Most 703rd info I come across deals with the M36, as they were the first battalion to make the switch to the 90mm TD (starting in September). |
Interesting link you've provided there !!!!!!!
I'd love to learn more about the M.10 early-versions....I've always been mad-keen & had a soft-spot for M.10's
Sad 'collector' that I am, I bought the original Tamiya release in 1/35th (though I don't doubt it has 'faults' = everyone says ?)
One day, I'll buy the "AFV.Club" or "Academy" versions
Over the last 15 years I've been fortunate to see & photogaph many examples (primarily in Begium, whilst on Motorcycling Holidays)
Even spent a night parked-up behind an 'Achilles', which is on the Hillside on the Western-bank of La-Roche........
As well as travelled to Arlon, just to see the Town's M.10.
Most of our trips were around the 'Ardennes' region, as I've always had an interest in the 16th Dec'44 'Wacht Am Rhein' "arena".
