Re: Fairwell GMP

I'm still waiting for someone to come along and make a great larger-scale Mustang...GMPs may have been pretty and had a lot of detail, but there was still something about them that just wasn't quite right.

It was the hinges on the flaps and ailerons, the misfiting cowl panels, the incorrect length of gear door and rake of the gear, and lack of panel fastener/rivet detail for the scale. I'm with 'ya Skunky, while it is a pretty model (and I have one -- Petie), it isn't the representation I really want.

Someday, someone build it.............and we will come. We will come for reasons we can't even fathom.
UPS will turn up our driveway, not knowing for sure why they're doing it.

Gorgeous, totally accurate Mustangs will arrive at our door
as innocent as children......longing for the past.

...........and we'll pass over the money
without even thinking about it.

AMEN! HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE MUSTANG! TAKE ME TO THE PROMISED LAND BROTHER!
