I'm also disappointed GMP didn't stay in long enough to make a Corsair. I believe the $50 ebay prices are a symptom of the reason that GMP choose to get out rather than the cause. There was very low market demand for their product, at the $150 retail level, and GMP's planes were expensive items for retail dealers to carry in inventory for any length of time. When there's little demand at the retail level, there's little demand at the wholesale level. When that happens, wholesalers dump product, at cost on ebay (or sell to local dealers "out the back door" dirt cheap), to clear out merchandise that isn't moving so they can generate the cash needed to buy newer products that are moving.
