Unhappy Corgi 1/32 DEAD after 2006

Quoted by MartinBull on the UK forum:

The December 2006 issue of FlyPast features a ( brief ) interview with Corgi's Range Research Manager, Rob Hinchcliffe. You'll need to buy the magazine to read all of it. I hope it's OK to post this here ( I don't usually 'lift' stuff from publications ), but one question is important to collectors here ; -

FP : Is Corgi considering any more 1:32 scale models ?

RH : 'We feel that we have covered the most important iconic aircraft, so nothing new is planned at present , particularly as the price point and the size of the models makes collecting in numbers difficult.
That said, in time we may revisit the scale, for example to feature a different era'.

So - pick the bones out of that.....

Sounds like bad news for us "Large Scale" collectors....
