Louie's SA-16B

I while back Louie had given me a model kit to build for him. It is the classic Monogram SA-16B kit. I did a ton of researching on these planes, and have started the build. Here are some pics.
In the first pictures are the old fashioned box art. The men and the raft are included. I then took the parts out, separated them, and then cleaned them with dish sopa, and then let them air dry. This helps get the oils from the molds off of them. I then hit them with plasti-prep. At far right is the Grumman Mallard which is sort of close to the Albatros at the Air Zoo. Louie's aircraft will be finished as the one in the NMUSAF in Dayton.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
