Re: Any improvement on the MiG-29UB?

Point well taken.

Hey does anyone have any info on how there F-14's are. Overall,. I am not looking for nitpicking, but I can get them for around $28.00 each and dont have any yet. Seems to be the best deal out there on this aircraft in 1/72.

I'd say this depends on how much of a stickler you are for accuracy. Myself, I prefer Dragon's Cats over Witty's and you can get them for similar prices to what you mention above on ebay quite frequently. I don't know much at all about the correct differences between various Cat variants so all the "obvious" errors are easy for me to overlook -- ignorance is bliss, afterall. My only real beef with Witty's Cats is how crammed the pilot is -- his face is practically hitting the HUD... it looks a bit silly. Then again, Dragon's don't come with pilots...

That said, if all you really want is a representation of this jet in your collection, I think Witty and Dragon's efforts have a place in your collection -- just go with the best deal. If you prize accuracy and know a A model from a B... then you are probably best served saving your $ for CW. Many like FOV's, too, but I can't stomach the heavy wash on the panel lines myself -- and how deep the panels lines are.

I have Cats from Witty, Dragon, Revell, and CW and they all look good on the shelf -- it's only when you take the time to really look at 'em close up that the CW models really stand out IMHO.
