Re: Witty Wings F-16 Israel Barak

Is the shape of the air intake correct? The dragon and Witty F-16s have the same shape for air intake but I read that there are two different shapes depending on the engine used.

Seems correct to me for the "big mouth" intake, which appeared in the early part of the block-30/32 run. Not really engine dependent, but the larger intake was indeed designed for the GE engine which needed the extra air to reach full potential (compared to the earlier PW F-100), But even PW-powered C models in block 32 and later all had the big intake, as far as I know (though since I never flew one of those, I'm not 100% sure). In any event, all Block 40/42s and block 50/52s have the big intake.

All "A" models (before block 25 which started the "C" and "D" designation) had the smaller intake.
