| You do get what you pay for (mostly) not many parts go into a 21st Cent kit compared to hasegawa , tamiya etc .It depends onhow you wish to display model .. if you want something basic then buy 21st .. or if you prefer more detail and options then pay the extra for the kits .. Model kits are a darn site cheaper in U.S/ Asia than here in U.K considering the exchange rate .For example a 1/32 tamiya F-4E is approx $120 in U.S ... over in U.K its around £90 .. thats $180 ,still assuming $2 = £1 .. cant compare 21st cent prices as we dont get them here .. but i can compare a 21st Corsair with a trumpeter Corsair ... Trumpeter wins hands down .. much more detail and options and build quality shows .. as with cent corsair .. maybe 30 parts and screw holes and little detail .. As yet i cannot see any die-cast manufacturer making any/or decent planes in 1/32 . its o.k if you want spits , hurricanes me 109s p-51's etc .. thats it . no diverse models are being produced. Till then we have to make do with what is out there |
Even though the Trump Corsair is a little more detailed I would say that BBI's Corsair matches well with it. BBI's F4U gives you plenty of room to super detail the landing gear bays, engine, ect.
