Currently I'm reading "Eddie Rickenbacker" by W. David Lewis, published in 2005. Went on abe books and found it for under $14 shipped. GREAT book! Appears to be very well researched. I'm really enjoying some of the history of various hi-level folks, ie McArthur, Arnold, Marshall, etc, as Rickenbacker rubs shoulders with them, and travels to military bases, etc. on behalf of government officials.
I have, of course, read his auto-biography, but enjoy getting someone elses take on his life. Highly recommended. |
