This has been discussed in some detail in other threads on the Altaya planes which can be found under the category "IXO Models Junior". In one of these I briefly reviewed an "advance" copy of the B-17G, citing good and bad points. Overall, I think that planes like the Emily or FW-200 are worth buying even if one has to make "corrections", do a little touch-up painting, etc. I don't think I can say the same thing about Altaya's Lancaster, B-24, Wellington, HE-111 ,etc., which are available in larger size and better quality from Corgi. |
