One thing that always impressed me about the A-7 is that, much like it's F-8 cousin, had a serious speedbrake.....I think when that barn door deployed it slowed the SLUF down to around 10 or 11 knots...  |
Hehe...Well, Skunky, using this argument, I wonder why the US is wasting so much money on the F-35 when an A-7 could already do almost the same thing! ;-)
I'm telling you, CW has a way of making me like new airplanes. The A-7 is growing on me already...
