I got my Flyboys fighters and i'm happy with them.
I'll try to rig them at a later time.
I kept the Nieuport 17's and gave my father the Fokker DR.1's.
I like the Rawlings and Cassidy Nieuports the best.

I use piano wire for this sort of 48th scale rigging. I don’t know the gage I have been using, I just went into a piano store here in Portland and asked about it and they showed me a whole box of various sizes etc. They even gave it to me no charge, as it was repair scrap.
It is very rigid so you just need to measure the lengths needed (I use drafting dividers for this) and glue them in place. It is remarkably simple actually and certainly beats the nylon thread method, which expands, and contracts with temp changes.
