Have to say though I'm a great fan of the A320 series. It was really ground breaking when released. and performance and economy wise blew the 737 (300/400/500) of the day away.

As to the A-380 being a C5 replacement - No way. The structure would need a complete re-design to be able to handle those sought of loads. You might as well start from scratch. The 747F would still be a far better basis.
