Talking Re: Model Powers Fokker D VII line up

Hi Kiwi...what biplanes do U have? Also, I'm unfamiliar with the Corgi models - are any currently in 1:70 (or similar) scale? Cheers from Oz

G'day Buggles, how's Algie...?

Corgi only do the Gladiator and Swordfish in 1/72 - absolutely excellent models, with full rigging. If you see them, get 'em! They're out in the cheaper "Legends" range as well - but still with the same details as the 'Aviation Archive' series, only without a stand. Interestingly enough, one can order separate stands from Corgi directly (see my post in the Corgi section)

BTW - the lack of wing rigging on the MP Fokker D VII is NOT a mistake - apparently this WW1 fighter had a cantilevered wing, which did not require bracing wires. I've searched Google for pix of actual museum Fokkers (there are several around), and none of them show rigging.
