Even if LSSAH failed in their objectives doesn't mean they did not live up to their reputation. Look at the HJ division in Normandy, they got their ass kicked for 2/3 months and were an empty shell come September. However that being said, I bet every British/Canadian/Polish soldier that fought against them would admit their fighting prowess and spirit were top notch. |
