Sure me too! I still remember Jimmy Doolittle's remark to this day regarding the Gee Bee racer: "I gave her the gun...she flew like a bullet..."
I have a model of the Gee Bee racer by First Gear as well as the one made by Hallmark collectibles. I also still have the kits put out by one company whose name escapes me at the moment. Yeah, I would definitely collect a series of these in diecast. Anybody saw the movie "The Rocketeer". Check out the opening scene... |
