I'd love to see more of these in ANY scale! (Sure, 1/72 would be ideal, but I've already gotten all three of the Union Model Gee Bees in 1/48, as well as the two models at the start of this thread.) I know that Kyosho released a line of 1/72 racers briefly, though they seem to have been available only in Japan, and even there the price was rather steep.
